A Japanese-made signature model for the legendary jazz guitarist Pat Metheny. This full-hollow body model features a 15 3/4-inch body—slightly smaller than the standard 16-inch size typical of this type of guitar.

Pat Metheny burst onto the global jazz scene in the 1970s. During his three-year stint playing with vibraphone virtuoso Gary Burton, the young musician from Missouri was already establishing the playing style that would become his trademark. With the 1975 release of his debut album, *Bright Size Life*, he reinvented the traditional "jazz guitar" sound for a new generation of players. Throughout his career, Metheny has continuously redefined genres through the use of new technology, always striving to unlock new possibilities in both guitar improvisation and sonic expression.

He has performed with a remarkably diverse array of artists, including Steve Reich, Ornette Coleman, Herbie Hancock, Jim Hall, Milton Nascimento, and David Bowie. His body of work spans a wide range of styles—from solo guitar and small ensembles to electric and acoustic settings, large-scale orchestras, and ballet scores—and encompasses genres as varied as modern jazz, rock, and classical music.

Features "Sure Grip" knobs designed for both ease of control and high visibility. These knobs combine numbered markings with a rubber grip on the top to prevent slipping.

【Ebony Fretboard w/Prestige Fret Edge Treatment】

The fretboard is crafted from ebony, a wood prized for its quick note attack and rich sustain. Neck Type: PM neck (African Mahogany, set-in)
