Please note that this bass can also operate on an 18V battery. However, with a standard (TS) instrument cable, only the front pickup is active. Even when powered by an external power supply, a standard instrument cable carries only one channel at a time: the BASS output (Neck pickup) or the TREBLE output (Bridge pickup). This is the instrument's original operating design and is not a malfunction. Please be aware of this before purchasing.
