Up for sale is a beautiful 2019 Fender American Vintage Thin Skin '59 Jazzmaster in translucent White Blonde, originally purchased from Wildwood Guitars.
These limited-run Thin Skin Jazzmasters feature a lightweight ash body with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, vintage-inspired appointments, and player-friendly specifications. One of the standout features of this particular guitar is the beautiful ash grain visible through the translucent White Blonde finish, especially on the back of the body. The wood grain really gives this guitar a unique character that you don't typically see with opaque finishes.
This Jazzmaster has been thoughtfully upgraded with premium components, including a complete Mastery bridge and vibrato setup, Novak JM-Historic 1958 pickups, Black Bobbin vintage-inspired electronics, and a genuine Fender Custom Shop tortoise pickguard.

Condition
Very good overall condition with natural aging and playwear consistent with the thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
The finish has developed some light checking, along with a few small dings and surface marks. The wear gives it a naturally aged appearance, somewhere between a Fender Custom Shop Closet Classic and Journeyman Relic, rather than a heavily relic'd instrument.
The back of the neck was professionally sanded by Chicago Fret Works for a smooth, comfortable feel.
The beautiful ash grain is clearly visible through the translucent White Blonde finish, particularly on the back of the guitar. The natural grain, subtle checking, and light wear give this instrument a lot of character.
