Condition, Modifications & Upgrades
• Removed pickguard: Removed immediately when new — no tan line, ghosting, or residue. This fits my fingerstyle preference and showcases the beautiful spruce top. Traditional or clear Taylor pickguards can easily be added back if desired.
• Upgraded Saddle: Installed a black GraphTech String Saver saddle for improved tone, performance, and looks. The original white factory saddle is included in the case.
• Minor Blemish: One tiny, barely visible ding on the top behind the saddle. Highlighted in close-up photos for full transparency.
Next Gen Features I think you’ll love
The Next Gen upgrades live up to the hype — especially the modified scalloped V-Class bracing and the revolutionary Action Control Neck System. Adjusting the action on this guitar is a total game-changer. Rather than sanding/shimming saddles or taking it to a tech, you can adjust the neck angle directly in seconds with strings attached.
Seller Information
I'm not a pawn shop or used music store, just an individual with a serious gear habit. I have a good reputation on Reverb and eBay. I take detailed pics, describe gear accurately, I'm honest with buyers, and go above-and-beyond to get gear shipped out quickly. Please, feel free to message me with any questions.
I will include the tools shown in the pic to adjust the neck. Taylor only includes the standard Truss adjustment tool, I will include the flexible extension and nut driver to adjust the Action Control Neck system. This is not the same as adjusting a truss rod. The truss rod only sets the relief of the neck, this actually changes the angle of the neck — effectively lowering or raising the guitar’s action. It’s amazing to be able to hold a string action ruler at the 12th fret, and then actually watch the action change as you tweak the ACN adjustment. A whole new world compared to loosening the strings, removing the saddle, taking it to the bench to carefully sand, then putting the saddle back in, bringing it back up to pitch, checking the action, then again and again, on and on, being careful to not remove too much material. You just can’t imagine what a game changer it is and how easily you can set your action to exactly where you want it for the strings you’re currently playing.
