The SlideRIG Compact is a unique dual-stage compressor designed around the classic studio technique of running two 1176-style compressors in series, famously used by Lowell George to achieve his long, clean, sustaining slide guitar tone.

What makes the Compact particularly flexible is its three-way parallel blend section. You can independently blend the dry signal, the first compression stage, and the second dual-chained compression stage. This makes it possible to go from subtle, transparent compression to extremely long, smooth sustain while retaining as much of the original dynamics and attack as you want.

The SlideRIG Compact has been discontinued and is no longer in production. This is a rare beast, indeed!!
