Sire Marcus Miller P5 Precision Bass – Upgraded Tonerider Pickup

For sale is my Sire Marcus Miller P5, a superb Precision-style bass with excellent build quality and neck feel.

The bass has been upgraded with a Tonerider “The Duke” pickup, which gives it a big, punchy traditional P-bass sound with plenty of warmth and definition. It works brilliantly for rock, metal, punk, indie and pretty much anything that calls for that classic Precision tone.

Currently set up in standard tuning with 45–105 strings and playing nicely.

The P5 is a great alternative to a Fender Precision, with Sire’s rolled fretboard edges and very comfortable neck making it particularly easy to play. 

The design of this bass is really unique, the green against the dark roasted fretboard and red tort pickguard is striking. Great in photos but amazing in person.

Selling simply because I’m not playing enough bass at the moment and would rather it went to someone who will use it.
