The SE Electronics R1 is a passive ribbon mic, no phantom power. (Phantom power can damage most ribbon mics, so always check before plugging in your mic) The R1 has a nice warm ribbon sound and great on drum overheads, brass, guitar cabs, etc. I bought this one used and used it a handful of times before switching my studio focus from recording to mastering. I don't do a lot of recording now, so I am thinning out some equipment - time to let someone else enjoy this mic.
It will ship in original box with the shock mount. Add a ribbon to your mic closet!
