For sale is a 2011 Epiphone Limited Edition 50th Anniversary 1961 SG Special in Alpine White. This is a great-looking, lightweight SG with two P-90-style pickups, a wraparound bridge, and vintage-style tuners.

The guitar plays and sounds great, and all electronics function properly. Both pickups have been tested individually and together.

Condition: Very Good

The guitar is in very good used condition, with some cosmetic wear consistent with its age. Please note the following details:

• The gloss finish on the back of the neck has been deglossed to provide a smooth, satin-like playing feel. The heel and headstock retain their gloss finish.
• There is a small hairline crack in the pickguard near the neck pickup.
• The previous owner indicated that the pickups may have been replaced, but their manufacturer is unknown. I inspected the underside of the neck pickup and found no identifying markings. Both pickups sound good and work properly.
• The previous owner also described the tuners and wraparound bridge as upgrades. I have not verified whether these components differ from the original factory hardware.

The guitar weighs approximately 6 lb. 14 oz. and includes a properly fitted Epiphone SG gig bag (not the original anniversary-edition bag).
