Cloudburst is a digital ambient reverb with a dedicated ensemble effect that layers multiple voices to create wide, evolving pads. The Decay knob sets reverb length, Pre-Delay adds space before the reverb tail, Tone shapes the high-frequency content, Mod blends in pitch modulation, and Mix balances dry and wet signals. Ensemble switch offers three intensity levels for the layered voices, and the EXP/MIDI jack supports expression pedal, preset recall, or MIDI control.

The pedal runs on a 520 MHz ARM processor with 32-bit floating point processing and 24-bit 96 kHz converters. It supports mono or stereo operation via TRS jacks and includes true bypass switching with an electromechanical relay. A USB-C port allows firmware updates and connection to Strymon’s Nixie editor software.
