I am the original owner of this excellent 2020 USA-made Fender Parallel Universe Uptown Stratocaster. I bought the guitar because I thought it was unique and cool. All of that is true, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the sustain on this guitar. It has incredible sustain, which I can only attribute to the mahogany wood. Tone is great on this guitar, too. ... I'm not sure how many of these guitars come up for sale, but when you look around, pay attention to the finish on the body of the guitar. There is a lot of variety on these lacquer-finished mahogany bodies. Some show a ton of wood grain and appear darker. Others have a bit more creamy white with just the right amount of wood grain. I'm obviously biased, because I shopped a bit for this guitar to pick a finish that looked just right for me. Perhaps this is just right for you, too! Thanks for looking.
