A beautiful 2012 Epiphone Les Paul Standard PlusTop PRO finished in Wine Red and presented in excellent condition, showing only light signs of use and remaining in full working order. Bearing serial number 12111509346, this guitar dates to November 2012 and was manufactured at Epiphone’s Qingdao electric guitar factory in China.
The Standard PlusTop PRO combines the classic Les Paul formula of a mahogany body and set mahogany neck with an attractive AAA flame maple veneer top. A comfortable 1960s SlimTaper “D” neck profile, rosewood fingerboard and 24.75" scale provide the familiar Les Paul playing feel.
A pair of Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers – ProBucker-2 in the neck and slightly hotter ProBucker-3 in the bridge – deliver warm, powerful PAF-inspired tones. Both volume controls feature push/pull coil tapping, adding brighter single-coil-style sounds and making this a particularly versatile version of the Les Paul Standard.
