The MXR Custom Shop Hybrid Fuzz (CSP041) is an analog guitar effects pedal that blends the smooth, warm characteristics of a germanium transistor with the high-gain aggression and stability of a silicon transistor in a single circuit.

Key Features and Design

• Circuit Design: Uses one germanium transistor and one silicon transistor gain-matched for their positions, designed for MXR by Jeorge Tripps

• Controls: Features a simple two-knob layout consisting of Output and Fuzz, echoing vintage Fuzz Face pedals

• Tonal Range: Lowering the fuzz knob yields a fuzzy overdrive, turning it up accesses classic Fuzz Face tones, and rolling back your guitar's volume knob cleans up the signal dynamically

• Aesthetics: Housed in a standard compact MXR box featuring psychedelic artwork by One Horse Town

• Power: Runs on a 9-volt battery, a 9-volt AC adapter (such as Dunlop ECB003), or an MXR Brick Series power supply
