Funch 20” Crash Ride Prototype Cymbal 1955g

This auction is for a 20" Ride cymbal, perfectly crashable, hand-hammered in Denmark by the Funch company, Prototype, medium thin at 1955gr, with no wear (brand NEW from a couple of weeks ago).   

This cymbal is from my own collection and is in MINT condition, as NEW, just tried a few times in my studio, before deciding it wouldn't fit my cymbal sets or the work I do. The VIDEO is from Lasse and the original listing of the cymbal on the Funch website.

The cymbal has a medium low profile, a very present stick over an underneath "kah" roar and wash, with an explosive and trashy crash. Here's what Lasse / Ricky said about the cymbal: "The crash opens up nicely with a sprinkle of Chinese style trashiness. The wash has an ominous atmospheric vibe." Ricky also explained why it was named a prototype: "It's a prototype because of how different it is sonically against most Funch 20" rides. The techniques used to produce it are classic, but something special happened to this one that's all"
