Sigma DM-1ST 90’s - Gloss
Beautiful 1998 Sigma DM-1ST acoustic guitar from the highly regarded Korean-made Sigma era, when these instruments were produced under the C.F. Martin name.
Martin Heritage & Design:
Sigma instruments were designed to capture the look, feel, and tonal character of their legendary American-made counterparts.
The DM-1ST follows the traditional Martin D-18 formula, featuring a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and classic dreadnought proportions. Its scalloped X-bracing and traditional construction give it much of the familiar character associated with vintage Martin acoustics.
Features & Specifications:
- Solid spruce top
- Mahogany back and sides
- Scalloped X-bracing
- Rosewood fingerboard and bridge
- Classic dreadnought body
- Tortoise-style pickguard

The guitar has been carefully set up with comfortable action and plays beautifully. The upgraded bone components provide excellent string-to-body energy transfer, helping bring out the natural resonance and character of the solid spruce top.
This box sustains for ever, has the sweetest harmonic overtones, sounds like it almost has its own chorus built inside. I’ve never had vintage wood before, so to hear it ring out like this, I am kinda in awe and totally get why people love these old Martin examples.
