Meinl 22” Byzance Vintage Benny Greb Signature Sand Crash/Ride – 2304g

Excellent example of the Meinl Byzance Vintage Benny Greb Signature 22” Sand Crash/Ride, weighing 2304 grams. Overall in very good to excellent condition.

This is an extremely versatile 22” cymbal with the distinctive dry, warm and complex character of Benny Greb’s Sand series. It has excellent stick definition with a controlled, earthy wash and opens up beautifully as a crash. The combination of the sandblasted surface, thin weight and hammered construction gives it a musical response that works equally well as a main ride, crash/ride or large crash.

At 2304g, this particular cymbal has a light, responsive feel for a 22” and opens up easily without getting overly washy.

Fantastic cymbal with a great weight and a huge range of usable sounds. Selling only because I’m thinning out the collection.

Wouldn’t mind trading for a Meinl Byzance Jazz Medium Thin Ride 22” or Meinl Byzance Vintage Crash 20-22”
