Killer '84 Gibson Explorer in factory Alpine White.
Stamped November 5th, 1984 at the Nashville plant. Body and neck have authentic natural lacquer checking, yellowing, and honest play wear. No structural issues or repair history anywhere. Plays great!
I am 2nd owner. To my knowledge everything is stock except I think the original top hat knobs were black (there’s 1 in case) and also the bridge pickup, which was swapped back in the day for an 80s DiMarzio Super Distortion. Which sounds amazing….slams the front end of a tube amp like it’s supposed to!
Includes the original 1984 Gibson black hardshell case with the correct white plush interior. Case shell is solid, but all orignal latches and handle are gone. Previous owner installed a make shift handle and 1 terrible latch. They will need replacing if you plan on gigging with it—I left it completely as found.(pic on request)
