Featuring a comfortable Grand Concert body with a 12-fret setup that makes for an even more intimate feel, this unique 12-string acoustic-electric is a compelling addition to any player's toolkit. The Next Generation 552ce 12-Fret boasts a pairing of mahogany back and sides with a top of Western Red cedar, combining a focused midrange character with cedar's warm, mellow voice and rich musical texture. With remarkable soft-touch sensitivity and V-Class bracing inside to dial up more volume and sustain, this model yields pleasing dynamic range and octave shimmer. The Action Control Neck's unparalleled adjustability and the 12-fret configuration's slinky feel add up to exceptional playability, while built-in Claria electronics offer intuitive, clean plugged-in tone for any amplified setting. Visual accents include black binding with black/white/black top purfling, a green abalone rosette, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, a natural glossy finish and Meridian fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic.
