Up for sale is a rare 2000 Gibson ES-335 Limited Edition in a factory Translucent Blue finish with black body binding and pearloid small-block inlays.
I have owned this guitar since June 2010. During its time in my possession, it has been stored in its hard shell case in a climate-controlled, smoke-free home in Southern California (Orange County).
🌟 Custom Upgrades & Included Original Parts
Nearly $600 was invested in converting this guitar to an all-gold finish:
- Upgraded Hardware: All original nickel hardware has been replaced with gold hardware.
- Pickguard Removed: The black pickguard was uninstalled for a clean, sleek appearance.
- Original Parts Included: All original nickel hardware and the factory black pickguard have been preserved and are included in the sale. You can easily return the guitar back to full stock appearance whenever you choose!
Condition & Disclosures
- Overall Condition: Very Good overall playability and aesthetic appearance. The neck is wide and fluid, and the '57 Classic humbuckers deliver classic ES-335 punch, chime, and grit.
- Binding Separation: There is one noticeable cosmetic defect: the edge binding on the body has slightly separated from the guitar body. Please see the close-up photo in the gallery for a detailed view of this area.
