Taylor finally built an acoustic guitar for people who think “low end” should come with a building permit. 😂

This 2010 Taylor Baritone 6-String takes everything you love about a great Taylor acoustic and drops the whole operation downstairs. With its extended 27" scale length and B-to-B tuning, it delivers huge, rich lows while maintaining the clarity and articulation that keeps individual notes from disappearing into a bowl of acoustic oatmeal.

The combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood back and sides is absolutely gorgeous, and the Grand Symphony body gives all those lower frequencies plenty of room to breathe. Add the Venetian cutaway, Ebony fingerboard, Abalone rosette, gold hardware and Taylor's Expression System, and you've got a baritone that's equally comfortable on the couch, in the studio or plugged in onstage.

Basically, it's what happens when your acoustic guitar starts speaking two octaves lower, grows a respectable beard and begins referring to your regular six-string as “the little one.” 😂

Condition & What’s Included

She was born on February 9th, 2010 and remains in excellent condition. The only noteworthy cosmetic wear is some minor scuffing along the back edge of the headstock, which we've clearly shown in the photos. Otherwise, this is a remarkably clean example for a guitar that's now well into its teenage years.

The Sitka Spruce top looks beautiful, and that Indian Rosewood back and sides are absolutely stunning—the kind of wood that makes you flip the guitar over and stare at the back when you're supposed to be playing the front.

She includes the original Taylor deluxe hardshell case and original case candy, as pictured.

These Taylor Baritone 6-Strings offer something genuinely different from a standard acoustic. The longer scale, B-to-B tuning and big Grand Symphony body produce a deep, authoritative voice that's fantastic for alternate arrangements, accompanying vocals, recording or simply making songs you've played 4,000 times suddenly interesting again.

And if anyone questions why you need another acoustic guitar, simply explain that this one is tuned five semitones lower.

That's not another guitar. That's an entirely different department. 😂

Whoever brings this baby home is going to be STOKED!!
