Lowden WL-32
Wee Lowden · Sitka spruce / East Indian rosewood with LR Baggs Session VTC pickup
The WL-32 is Lowden’s parlor-size body with the 32’s classic wood pairing: a Sitka spruce top over East Indian rosewood back and sides. The Wee Lowden is the smallest shape in the line — about 13.2 inches across the lower bout and 3.9 inches deep — quality in a small frame without giving up the Lowden voice.
Sitka brings clarity, headroom, and a quick attack. Rosewood fills in the low end and adds overtone. In this small body the result is detailed and surprisingly full: a focused midrange, clear trebles, and more bass than the size suggests. It responds well to fingerstyle and light strumming, and it opens up in open tunings.
