The DTAR Solstice, an excellent acoustic guitar preamp, is perfect for any acoustic guitar pickup, particularly any stereo pickups where you need flexibility in blending the sound. (Before purchasing you should check with the pickup manufacturer for compatibility.)
The unit works perfectly with dynamic and / or condenser microphones (15V phantom power is onboard).
I used it with a DPI 5099 and an external 48-volt adapter, and it consistently worked extremely well. The flexibility to blend the two signals made a huge difference to my live acoustic sound.
