I love this receiver. It has perfect patina. The walnut wood cabinet is all original. Many times I have to completely recover these with new veneer. Sometimes they look “too new”. This one is just right. just a few imperfections on the corners. It was treated very well over the last 50+ years. I gave it a good scrub and applied a nice coat of beeswax. As far is the internals. shes been thoroughly cleaned. Main filter Capacitors are new. And a rebuilt power supply. The lighting has been updated as well. It sounds as good as it looks. These early Kenwood’s are known for having a warm rich tone. This beautiful piece has 45WPC and will make the perfect centerpiece for your vintage audio time travel.
