2002 Gibson Custom Art and Historic Flying V Custom 1 of 40
This is a 2002 Gibson Custom Art and Historic division Flying V Custom. It is one of the 40 that were made for the 2002 NAAM show. It is in brand new never been played still has the original strings on it condition. Yes it really does "still got the ol' tagger on it!" Nigel Tufnel would definitely approve of the collectibility of this one. I tuned it up and plugged it in only once prior to listing it to make sure everything was working. As you can see it has the original hard shell case (OHSC) along with all the unopened case candy. The body is solid one piece mahogany, the neck is mahogany topped with an ebony fingerboard with the classic Gibson custom pearl block inlays. Full Gibson Custom style binding all around along with an absolutely flawless black nitro lacquer finish. It features an ABR bridge, and Gibson 57 Classic hum buckers. The guitar weighs 7lbs 4oz. Not much more to say regarding this one. The pictures tell the story. If you're looking for a truly rare and gorgeous show stopper of a Gibson guitar.... this one just might be the ticket.
