The Seymour Duncan "Tele-Gib" is a legendary hybrid electric guitar that blends Fender Telecaster simplicity with Gibson humbucker power, originally created in the early 70's by Seymour Duncan for Jeff Beck.
50th Anniversary Fender Custom Shop Release
To celebrate 5 decades of the iconic design, the Fender Custom Shop collaborated with Seymour Duncan to release a meticulous, limited edition replica of Seymour's personal "Tele-Gib" configuration.
It features a lightweight, one piece ash body, and aged Gibson Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar talepiece, hand-wound prototype JB/Jazz pickups with de-gauzed magnets, and 500k Bourns/250k CTS potentiometers.
This collaboration between Fender Custom Shop, Gibson and Seymour Duncan is the celebration of 50 years of Seymour Duncan pickups.
