Baldwin R 5' 8" Grand piano, serial # 7023, mfg year 1898 Mahogany case, with bench (not shown)

*Some pictures have background removed since it's in our busy workshop*
This full size grand was rebuilt in the not so distant past.
It has a new pinblock, new tuning pins and strings. It has been tuned to a stable 440 Hz pitch, nice, tight tuning pins.
The action has new hammers, shanks and flanges. The original whippens have been reconditioned with new felt and cloth padding.
It has new damper felts and the levers reconditioned.
The keytops were recovered with new plastic tops. Keys have leveled and the dip adjusted, the action has been regulated.
The leg ferrules, casters and pedals have been polished to a high gloss gold sheen. That is not paint, that is polished brass.

It is still the original case, but it is very sturdy and will last a long time if kept out of sunlight (as with any piano) and away from swamp cooler downdrafts and heaters.
It sounds very warm and clean with new tenor/treble and bass strings.

Being fully rebuilt, this last for many years to come.
