2007 Marshall 1960A 4x12 Speaker Cabinet

A very good example of a 2007 Marshall 1960A 4x12 angled speaker cabinet. A proper workhorse of a cab and a staple of backlines, studios and stages for decades.

Our example is in very good overall condition for its age. The black Tolex is generally very clean, with just a few light scuffs and signs of use. The one thing worth pointing out is a dent to the rear of the cabinet, just above the input sockets. It is purely cosmetic and nothing that detracts from the performance or operation of the cabinet.

The 1960A is the angled version of Marshall’s classic 4x12 and gives you that big, immediate Marshall sound. The four Celestion G12T-75 speakers deliver plenty of punch and projection, with a firm low end, strong upper mids and enough top-end bite to cut through a loud band. They work particularly well with Marshall valve heads, from classic crunch through to higher-gain territory, but they’re versatile enough to suit a wide range of amplifiers.

There’s something very satisfying about a proper 4x12. Push some serious valve power through one and you get that combination of physical low-end thump, projection and spread that smaller cabinets simply struggle to reproduce.
