Bedell Bahia Dreadnought Adirondack Spruce–Brazilian Rosewood Natural Finish

The Bedell Bahia is a dreadnought engineered around premium tonewoods and hand-tuned construction, delivering responsive dynamics and articulation that reward both fingerstyle and flatpick techniques. At 25" scale with a 1.69" nut width, it balances comfort with projection—a purposeful instrument built for players who prioritize authentic materials and meticulous craftsmanship over mass production.

Tonewoods & Sonic Character

Adirondack Spruce paired with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides creates a bright, focused treble response layered over deep warmth and harmonic complexity in the low end. The Honduran Mahogany neck and Brazilian Rosewood fretboard contribute to tonal coherence, while hand-tuned construction ensures responsive dynamics without sacrificing fundamental resonance across the frequency spectrum.

Playability & Construction

Body dimensions of 19.67" length, 14.25" lower bout width, and 3.375"–4" depth deliver the full-bodied resonance expected from a dreadnought platform with accessible upper range via 18 frets. Setup with D'Addario XT PB Light strings (.012"–.053") ensures the instrument is ready to play out of the box.
