Bacchus 02 Duke DX 2002 - Brown Nitro

Bacchus 02 Duke DX

The Bacchus Handmade series were the top of the line Bacchus guitars, made in the early 2000's by Headway at the Deviser Aska factory. Only the finest craftsmen worked on the Handmade Series and each guitar is a unique work of art. This is no exception.

The 02 Duke DX was a ¥280,000 guitar when made and that was a premium price back then in 2002.

The body is a one piece Honduras Mahogany. The neck, one piece Honduras as well with an ebony fretboard. The top is stunning in solid AAA Quilted maple. Finish is nitro, of course. Super thin.

The pickups are hand wound P-90's with cream covers from mr Fabulous in Melbourne. I got it with some Seymour Duncan P-90 with black covers as seen in the last 2 pics, but I found the Mr Fabulous ones, Alnico 2 as I recall, much more to my liking.

All round in exceptional condition and it comes with a high quality hard case.

It's a one of a kind. You're unlikely to find a better quality LP style guitar ... anywhere ..

The spec sheet is from the Bacchus 2003 catalogue.

Note: The red LP Custom in the last picture is not included in the sale (but it is available for sale if interested)
