TC Electronic 2240 HS Parametric Equalizer/preamplifier

Essentially this is 2 TC Electronic 1140 units combined into one enclosure.

Ive opened the top portion 5 small torx head machine screws hold it in place, to show the 2 switches on the inside of the unit.

Each internal switch, turns on, or off its corresponding 1140 unit.

These units were designed with studio use in mind, being on all the time. so this option is there to turn off one half of the unit, all of the time, if your not using that half, or whatever else your reason may be.

Why TC didnt actually put the switches on the outside of the unit, ill never know, but who's going to argue what they did...TC Electronic for this era of equipment, was the best money could buy.

All knobs turn as if they just left the factory, and the momentary toggles likewise and work like they should. All lettering is pristine, knobs have full white color on its indicator, other than a few rack rash marks, this is as clean of a unit you will ever find, this is pristine, as it hasn't been used much.

These units were meticulously engineered and put together in Denmark, Europe to be distributed worldwide. That's why there are foreign markings on some of these that made it back to the States.
