The LU Series soprano has an okoume laminate top, back, and sides with a satin finish. Laminate construction holds up well to changes in humidity and temperature. Neck and body binding protect the edges and give the instrument a finished look. At just 12 oz, it's comfortable to hold during long practice sessions.

The neck has a wide 37.4mm nut width, which gives your fretting fingers more room. That helps beginners form clean chords and helps players with larger hands. A hidden scarf joint at the headstock strengthens the neck and improves sustain. Chrome open-back tuners with black buttons keep the headstock light for better balance.

A NuBone XB® nut and saddle transfer string vibration efficiently for fuller tone and longer sustain. The 8-hole quick-tie bridge keeps saddle pressure even and makes string changes faster. It ships with Aquila® soprano strings for a warm, articulate tone right out of the box.
