About the CTO-1 V1

The CTO-1 was the original Transparent Overdrive in Danelectro's Cool Cat series, introduced around 2008. It has become particularly interesting to pedal collectors because the original V1 circuit is closely associated with the early Timmy-style transparent overdrive design.

The V1 was subsequently replaced by the CTO-2, making the original CTO-1 V1 the version sought by collectors and enthusiasts who specifically want the first-generation circuit.
