The Sequential Prophet Rev2 is a professional polyphonic analog synthesizer designed by Dave Smith as the successor to the acclaimed Prophet ’08. This 8-voice version delivers the same analog signal path and extensive sound-design capabilities of the Rev2 platform, with the option to expand to 16 voices.

Each voice features two digitally controlled analog oscillators (DCOs), a sub-oscillator, and the classic Curtis 2/4-pole resonant low-pass filter. Waveshape modulation allows continuous variation of the oscillator waveforms, greatly expanding the instrument’s tonal range.

The Rev2 is also bi-timbral, allowing two different sounds to be stacked or split across the keyboard. Its extensive modulation system includes four LFOs, three envelopes, an 8-slot modulation matrix, polyphonic and gated step sequencers, and a programmable arpeggiator.

A premium 61-key Fatar semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, extensive hands-on controls, built-in effects, MIDI and USB connectivity make the Prophet Rev2 equally suited for studio production, sound design, and live performance.
