Overview

From its outrageous lines to the 25.5" scale length, the Gates Custom is built to dish out down-tuned, high-gain riffing. Its 3-piece mahogany neck is carved to a fast profile with great access to all 24 frets. And its ebony fretboard is rounded to a 14" radius, letting you grab those huge bends and wide vibrato. Finally, the guitar's extreme contours ensure this guitar is as balanced and comfortable as it is aggressive. If metal is your thing, you really can't go wrong with this instrument.

Schecter Synyster Gates Signature Humbuckers

You'll be hard pressed to beat the sustain and attack you'll get out of this guitar's high-output Schecter Synyster Gates signature humbucking pickups. This high-output pickup design features ceramic-8 magnets for higher output while retaining plenty of upper-harmonic cut. Synyster Gates has been quoted saying, "One day I plugged in and realized I was playing through the greatest pickups I had ever heard or felt in my life." Not a bad endorsement. So if you're looking to get that same tight, aggressive, and pulverizing sound out of your playing, make sure you get what Gates himself uses.

Genuine Floyd Rose 1500 Bridge

Schecter knows that players who prefer the heavier side of music demand absolute performance from their guitars. That's why they loaded the Synyster Gates Custom with a Floyd Rose 1500 double-locking tremolo bridge. A remake of the original Floyd Rose blade tremolo, this incredible bridge lets you dive and pull up to the extreme while never having to worry about tuning accuracy. You'll get both the rock-solid reliability and the tight response you need when you strap on the Synyster Gates Custom.
