Spector NS-2A bass - Mid-80s neck-thru

Here we have a beautiful and bruising Spector NS-2A built in Korea in the mid-1980s in rare and highly sought after aquamarine blue. 

Neck-thru solid maple body design 

Rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, 34” scale length 

Individual volume controls for both pickups and individual bass and treble cut/boost

“Belly carve-out” back

Locking strap included 

Schaller tuning pegs made in West Germany (before the Berlin Wall fell)

Near pristine Spector branded, custom molded HSC included

I have owned this bass just over a year and I have never gigged with it. It’s never even left my temperature and humidity controlled home. 

The fine print:

Gloss finish in good condition. Some very light scratches on the back of the body and top of headstock. There is also some minor wear on the tuning pegs. Frets have some dings but pretty good for a 40 year old instrument. Fret wear does not affect playability. Missing some of the screws for the backplate but it does stay in place. “Spector” stylized name has mostly faded off the pickups. This bass is incredibly rare, especially in this colour. I looked for this bass in this colour for well over a year before I found it. As such, price is FIRM.  “Accepting offers” is only on so we can negotiate shipping cost.
