1990 Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway White - Great Shape!

Rare, 1990 Les Paul Junior Double Cut in a cream white finish, player grade condition, with a chewy, percussive P-90 and ready to rock out. I purchased this used in 2020, played it maybe 8 hours upon arrival, meant to get back to it, and never did. She's part of my studio reclamation project.

This Junior is in very nice condition for its age but there are issues that must be pointed out:

• It looks like the original Grovers were swapped for Kluson style (holes drilled) and at some point, returned to the Grovers you see
• These holes have been filled in but you can see indents through the finish (see photo)
• 99% sure it was refinished as the holes are painted over
• Speaking of finish, it appears to be lacquer as there is weather checking throughout. Very hard to see to the naked eye, but in the right light, they are quite visible.
• Small dings throughout top and bottom. Hard to photograph.
• Two tiny chips in headstock, one visible enough to see in close-up photo
• No cracks, surprisingly little buckle rash (probably filled in during refinish)
• Suspect it's been refretted as there is almost no fretwear
• Case is in cosmetically rough condition; tears throughout. I doubt it's original as there is no 'Gibson' labeling
• Taped label that a previous owner placed on case edge has assimilated with the cover material and will pull off if you try to remove this tape. Don't is my recommendation.

That aside, you are buying a fantastic guitar with the best fret access in the Gibson line-up. The neck is a fast, slim taper carve measuring 0.84" and 0.88" at 1st and 12th frets, respectively. 24-3/4" scale. Weighs in at a sturdy 8 lbs, 6 oz.

Tune-o-matic bridge with stop tailpiece for perfect intonation and sustain. The P-90 barks with the best.
