------------------------------
Asturias is a long-established guitar brand from Kurume City, Kyushu. This instrument is the "Gran Solo," a 16-inch body model originally designed by skilled craftsmen with their own sensibilities, from the body shape to the internal structure, specifically for fingerpickers. It is designed to produce a richer volume without sacrificing the quick response when fingerpicking. It features a German spruce top, rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Gotoh 510 tuners. Not only does it have the excellent balance of each string and high playability required for fingerstyle playing, but it also has a thick, clear, silky fundamental tone, long sustain, and a beautiful harmonic structure that colors melodies and their lingering resonance. The meticulous craftsmanship and elegant looks are also appealing. The ultra-thin lacquer finish on the top has a somewhat moist sheen, and despite its simple design, it has a luxurious feel. This is a recommended guitar that should definitely be considered by anyone looking for a guitar for fingerstyle playing. This is a renowned instrument, primarily used by Japan's celebrated fingerpicker, Tomoaki Kawabata.
