For sale is an exceptionally clean Ibanez JS1600 Joe Satriani Signature guitar in Premium Silver, made in Japan and personally signed by Joe Satriani on the back of the headstock.

This is an increasingly difficult-to-find discontinued JS model and one of the more unusual guitars in the Satriani lineup due to its fixed/string-through bridge design rather than the locking tremolo found on most higher-end JS models.

The guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for. I am not aware of any significant dings, chips or other cosmetic imperfections. Please examine the detailed photographs for the exact condition. It plays beautifully, everything functions properly, and it sounds fantastic.

The Joe Satriani autograph is prominently located on the back of the headstock and is large, clean and well preserved.

This particular package also includes two additional Joe Satriani-signed collectible items: a Joe Satriani guitar strap signed by Joe and an Ibanez catalog featuring Joe Satriani that is also signed by Joe. These items are pictured and are included with the guitar.

The JS1600 is a Japanese-made Prestige-level Satriani model produced for only a relatively short period. It features a mahogany body, JS Prestige maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, 22 frets, DiMarzio humbuckers and a fixed string-through bridge. The fixed bridge gives the guitar excellent tuning stability, sustain and a slightly different feel from the more common tremolo-equipped JS models.

Included with the sale: Ibanez JS1600 in Premium Silver; Joe Satriani signature on the rear of the headstock; Ibanez hardshell case pictured; Joe Satriani-signed guitar strap; Joe Satriani-signed Ibanez catalog; and the additional pictured Satriani memorabilia/materials.

This is a great player’s guitar on its own, but the combination of the discontinued Japanese JS1600, excellent condition, Joe Satriani autograph, and accompanying signed memorabilia makes this particular example especially appealing to a Satriani or Ibanez collector.

The guitar will be carefully packed and protected for shipping.
