The Koko Boost in black: a limited edition of Suhr's two-in-one boost, the same pedal as the standard Koko in a black finish.

One side is a clean, transparent boost with anywhere from unity gain to +20dB on tap, for pushing a tube amp or a drive pedal harder. The other is a mid boost, centred on one of three frequencies from a three-way switch: Mids for full and smooth, High Mids for clear and articulate, Low Mids for fat and creamy. Mid Boost sets the level and Mid Gain sets how much of the chosen frequency comes forward.

Suhr's MF(x) switching keeps both on a single footswitch: press and hold to move between the green clean mode and the red mid mode. Suhr built it as the identical circuit and tone of the original Koko in a smaller enclosure, so it takes less room on the board.

An internal switch sets true bypass or buffered bypass, and the FX Link jack lets an external switch or loop controller handle the switching. It runs on 9V, draws under 15mA, and has a low battery monitor.
