This is the Fender 70th Anniversary Ultra Stratocaster HSS in Amethyst is a limited-edition model released to celebrate 70 years of the Stratocaster. It combines the modern performance features of the American Ultra series with exclusive anniversary appointments and one of Fender’s most striking finishes.

The standout Amethyst finish is an iridescent, color-shifting metallic finish that changes from deep purple to blue and silver depending on the lighting and viewing angle. Fender paired it with a roasted maple neck, black pickguard and hardware accents that give it a distinctive, high-end appearance.

Key features include:

* Alder body with sculpted rear contours and a tapered neck heel for improved upper-fret access.

* Roasted maple neck with a comfortable Modern “D” profile and Ultra rolled fingerboard edges.

* 10”–14” compound-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets.

* HSS pickup configuration featuring two 70th Anniversary Ultra Noiseless™ Strat single coils and a 70th Anniversary Ultra Quadra Tap™ humbucker.

* Dual S-1 switching: one switch coil-splits the bridge humbucker, while the other engages a hotter voicing for added tonal flexibility.

* 2-point Deluxe synchronized tremolo with pop-in arm, locking tuners, bone nut, locking strap buttons, and a commemorative 70th Anniversary neck plate.

This guitar has, what I believe to be, the nicest guitar finish Fender has ever released. Guitar is in amazing condition, only flaw is superficial marks to the pickguard. Was not played much. This does not come with the original hard shell case but it does come with a Fender hard shell case, as seen in the pix, as well as all of the original case candy and certificate of authenticity.
