The JBL CBT 1000E is a purpose-built low-frequency extension module that transforms the CBT 1000 column speaker into a full-range system capable of deep, controlled bass output. This fiberglass-reinforced enclosure pairs seamlessly with the CBT 1000 via included coupler plate, delivering the low-end extension needed for larger venues and demanding applications without compromising the column's compact form factor.

Low-Frequency Performance

Six high-excursion 165 mm (6.5 in) drivers work in concert with a purpose-designed crossover network to extend bass response below 38 Hz when paired with the CBT 1000. This configuration achieves maximum SPL ratings of 124 dB in full space and 130 dB in half-space across the critical 65 Hz–300 Hz band, providing substantial output capability for mid-to-large installations.

Power Handling & Specifications

Rated for 1500W power handling with maximum input voltage tolerance of 100 Volts RMS (2 hrs) and 200 Volts Peak, the CBT 1000E handles demanding amplifier loads while maintaining headroom. Sensitivity ranges from 102 dB at the highest setting to 95 dB at the lowest, offering flexibility in system gain structure and tuning.
