National Chicagoan 1956 - Grey Pearloid
For sale is a 1956 National Chicagoan Charcoal Pearloid covered Lap Steel. In good condition and sounds great. A product of the Valco company out of Chicago. The pickup is strong and hot. These Valco pickups are notoriously great, I think. All the pearloid covering appears to be tight with no loose places. The original Kluson tuners work well but have a couple shafts that are somewhat bent. There is a slight hairline crack (See the close up pic #3) in the plastic bridge cover that is a very easy fix. 2 very small (maybe 1/8") holes have been drilled right behind the bridge cover (see close up pic #3). They are not noticeable at a distance. It is equipped with the original screw on jack for the guitar cable. The screw on Jack is included for your cable. It came to me with no case. I am pricing accordingly. In summary, everything works well and it sounds very good. Great old blues and or early Country sound. $350.00 + shipping. Thank you
