The EQDELUXE is a three-band analogue inductive EQ inspired by the 1950s Pultec EQP-1A studio equaliser, adapted with carefully selected frequencies for guitar and bass.
The original EQP-1A is known for its musical equalisation curves, push-pull valve-stage saturation and the celebrated “Pultec low-end trick”, which combines low-frequency boost and attenuation to add weight and definition. EQDELUXE brings these characteristics to a pedalboard-friendly format, offering useful tone shaping alongside subtle studio-style saturation.
While suitable for both guitar and bass, its frequency selection and low-end shaping make it particularly well suited to bass players. The high-headroom design is compatible with audio interfaces and mixing consoles, while a buffered bypass maintains signal integrity when the pedal is disengaged.
