TOCA 3310 LARGE IYA BATA DRUM - FLOOR MODEL
The Toca 3310 is a dual-headed large Iya batá drum in Red Lacquer with Size: 7" & 12" heads | 29" tall. Built for traditional Afro-Cuban hand percussion, folkloric performance, and world music ensembles, this instrument acts as the low-pitched mother drum that anchors the batá section. The asymmetrical wood shell features matched bison hide heads to project balanced acoustic tones in live and studio settings.
The acoustic design maximizes deep bass resonance across the 12-inch head while delivering crisp slap clarity from the 7-inch head. Chrome-plated mechanical tuning lugs allow accurate pitch adjustments across both playing surfaces without traditional rope tensioning. As a floor model store display, this drum is in like-new condition with minor showroom handling, offering complete mechanical and cosmetic function at a great value compared to new MSRP.
Key Features:
- Largest Iya voice designed to lead Afro-Cuban batá drumming ensembles
- Hourglass wood shell measuring 29 inches in height
- Natural bison hide heads measuring 7 inches and 12 inches
- Chrome-plated mechanical tuning lugs for independent head tensioning
