1976 Gibson L6-S Custom Electric Guitar - Tobacco Sunburst. This Tobacco finish is super hard to find. Sunburst finishes, including Tobacco Burst and Cherry Sunburst, as well as rare colors like Wine Red or Silver Burst, made up only a tiny fraction of the total production run. They were often treated as custom orders or limited factory runs rather than standard catalog items. Out of the roughly 12,000 to 18,000 original L6-S units produced in the 1970s, only a small percentage received the Tobacco Burst treatment.
Condition wise it is a player guitar, has quite some wear, dings, finish wear, checkings, as pictured. No structural cracks, no headstock / neck joint breaks. Features newer hardware and electronics. Weights 7.85 lbs.
