For sale, a vintage v100pgm lemon drop, fully modified by previous owner. New specs as follows.

Tonerider alnico 2 classic humbucker set with chrome covers, full james home of tone 50's wiring set complete with cts pots and a switchcraft jack and selector switch, Thumb cutter knob pointers installed under the new set of knobs, Gotoh usa button tuners and the instrument had undergone a total refret with dunlop 6105 medium jumbo frets and a graphtec tusq nut fitted. The previous owner also had the finish professionally removed from the back of the neck leaving a lovely satin finish which is very easy to get around on, and the bridge was also filled down lightly on the right hand side to provide maximum break angle for the strings allowing lowest possible action with excellent sustain.

The frets are still level and smooth and it plays like a dream and sounds excellent, very much in the realm of a late 50s les paul very articulate.

It has a few scratches and finish dents here and there but overall in very good condition and in perfect working condition please refer to the pictures for a closer look, previous owner had at one time a generic aftermarket pickguard fitted which wasn't original to this model hence the screw holes. I'm sure an epiphone/generic one would fit comfortably if wanting to add one later.

This one was obviously a labor of love for the original owner and the best les paul style guitar ive ever played looks fantastic as well, but i just can't get on with the shape. Much more a strat guy so moving this on to someone who will hopefully appreciate it more.

Given the complete overhaul of this instrument which likely cost up to twice the original value of the guitar im listing for 295 which I think is fair, these original jhs peter green models are likely to disappear from the market soon due to the acquisition of jhs by a budget instrument company so a good opportunity to grab a completely overhauled one. It will comfortably compete with the best in les paul style guitars, guaranteed.
