About this listing
Experience the unmistakable character of an original Roland D-50—one of the defining synthesizers of the 1980s and an inspiring instrument for today’s musicians, producers, and collectors. This excellent-condition example offers the lush textures, shimmering atmosphere, expressive leads, and distinctive digital character that made the D-50 a studio classic. Its Linear Arithmetic synthesis combines sampled attacks with synthesized waveforms, creating sounds with depth, movement, and personality: expansive pads, evocative bells, rich strings, atmospheric voices, punchy brass, and beautifully layered textures. The 61-key keyboard features velocity sensitivity and aftertouch for expressive playing, while onboard effects help give its sounds their spacious, polished finish. The instrument pictured is the actual synthesizer offered and being a used 40 year old instrument, condition is reflective of that. Please review the photographs for its cosmetic condition. This listing is for the Roland D-50 only; Bring an iconic Roland sound into your studio and discover why the D-50 continues to inspire.
