The SG Standard '61 Maestro Vibrola Faded brings back the iconic design that has made the SG a timeless favorite among musicians across generations and musical styles.  Its satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives the instrument a naturally worn-in appearance and the comfortable feel of a well-loved guitar that has been played for years.

As its name suggests, this model is equipped with a Maestro Vibrola, providing smooth vibrato effects while adding a distinctive vintage aesthetic.  The tailpiece features the classic Lyre engraving, further enhancing its period-correct appearance.  The guitar features a Slim Taper mahogany neck paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard.  Its mahogany body is deeply sculpted for enhanced comfort and includes a traditional 5-ply teardrop pickguard and a 22nd-fret neck joint.  Nickel-plated hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Keystone tuners, and the Maestro Vibrola.  For authentic vintage-inspired tone, the SG is equipped with open-coil '60s BurstBucker pickups, delivering a classic Gibson voice with enhanced power and clarity in the upper frequencies.  The electronics are completed with audio-taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, providing responsive control and helping preserve the guitar's distinctive vintage character.
