I am offering here a Maybach Capitol ’59 Natural Vintage Amber Aged from 2025, a handcrafted luxury semi-hollow electric guitar model from the Czech elite guitar forge Maybach with an exceptionally lightweight semi-hollow construction including a solid maple center block (weighing only 2.83kg in total!), impressively figured flamed maple laminat top, back and sides made of maple laminate, set mahogany neck with chunky ’50s C neck profile and 42.8mm bone nut, bound rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, warm Amber Boutique HH set featuring a Spirit of 59 humbucker at the bridge and an Amber Supernova Custom humbucker at the neck as well as high-quality Gotoh Vintage tuners in an authentically aged Natural Vintage Amber nitrocellulose finish with nickel hardware in mint condition including Maybach luxury hardshell case, all manufacturer documents as well as professional setup with 10-46 Elixir Optiweb strings.

You don’t have to be a mind reader to guess which classic of rock history the Capitol ’59 is modeled after. Like its coveted Gibson ES-335 predecessor from the 1950s, this double-cut semi-hollow-body guitar features a body made of laminated maple with a flamed maple top, a solid maple sustain block, and a glued-in mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The model, finished in a beautiful Natural Vintage Light Aged Nitro finish, isn’t just a visual treat—thanks to the thin finish, it also resonates incredibly well acoustically. Weighing just 2.83kg, the instrument is a true featherweight yet remains superbly balanced!

Plugged in, an Amber Spirit of ’59 humbucker at the bridge and an Amber Supernova Custom humbucker at the neck deliver a versatile sound spectrum ranging from rock to blues and funk all the way to jazz. Both clear, singing clean tones and warm, punchy distorted PAF sounds come through beautifully on this guitar.

The chunky ’50s C-shaped neck profile fits very comfortably in the hand, and thanks to the professional setup and the double cutaways, this Capitol 59 plays exceptionally well all the way up to the highest frets.

In short, it’s a semi-hollow on steroids at an absolute Custom Shop level—one you shouldn’t hesitate to treat yourself to.

The guitar is in absolutely mint condition and is technically flawless. Aside from the factory-intended aging, the guitar shows no visible wear (see photos). The frets are like new.
