For sale is this distinctive Sampson-era Bad Cat Hot Cat 30 2x12 valve combo, finished in black with its striking copper and gold grille cloth.

Designed by Mark Sampson, the original Hot Cat 30 is a high-gain boutique valve amplifier with a reputation for combining rich, responsive cleans with powerful overdrive. This example is from the first original production run, making it a particularly rare and collectible version of the Hot Cat.

The Hot Cat 30 delivers around 30 watts of Class A valve power through two 12-inch speakers. Its clean channel offers plenty of warmth and touch response, while the gain channel provides the drive and bite for rock and heavier styles.
