The Fender Custom Shop B4 LTD ’64 L-Series Stratocaster is a carefully aged recreation of a mid-’60s Strat, combining classic Fender character with the feel and consistency of a modern Custom Shop instrument. Finished in Olympic White with Heavy Aged treatment, this example has the convincingly worn appearance of a well-played vintage guitar, complemented by a mint-green pickguard and vintage-style appointments. The alder body and rift-sawn maple neck provide the familiar balance and snap associated with a great Strat, while the hand-wound FAT ’64 pickups deliver a clear, lively voice with plenty of warmth, sparkle and dynamic response. The RWRP middle pickup helps keep the in-between positions quiet, while the Vintage Modified #2 wiring adds a Tone Saver treble-bleed network to the volume control, preserving high-end clarity and definition as you roll the volume back.
